
Evolution and Ecology of Neotropical Mammals


He is a biologist graduated from National University of Colombia, currently the Scientific Director of Conservation International Colombia, an organization that was created in the country 20 years ago and in this time has helped consolidate solid projects of biodiversity conservation. He worked for 18 years at the National Institute for Renewable Natural Resources and the Environment (INDERENA), the National Parks Division and was the head of the Division of Wildlife. He is the Founder of the Program for the reintroduction of the Andean Condor. He has led wildlife several assessment programs in different parts of the country. He has been a consultant in the management of wildlife resources as an economic alternative for the Organization of American States (OAS) and other national entities.
