Evolution and Ecology of Neotropical Mammals


Dr. Thomas R. Defler is one of the most recognized primatologists in the country. He was born in North America and now he has a Colombian nationality. He is Associate Professor of Biology at National University of Colombia and Director of the Ecological Station Omé (Amazonas) attached to this University. He works various topics related to tropical ecology with an emphasis on primates. For several years he lived in the Amazon and Orinoco regions, where he studied for about 30 years, the primates of Colombia. In recent years, he is busy organizing some of his memories.
