Evolution and Ecology of Neotropical Mammals
Is a biologist at National University of Colombia; candidate for Master of Biology of the University. In the public sector he has been working with the Institute of Natural Sciences, and the Colombian Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences (ACCEFYN). In the private sector his professional experience is associated with environmental consulting firms, where he participates in characterizations of wildlife, evaluation and preparation of environmental impact studies, for the licensing of projects in the hydrocarbons sector ports, and mining. His research has focused on conservation, taxonomy and evolution of Colombian mammals, participating in various field works and academic projects.
In the field of photography, his work focuses on the documentary portrait. His recent projects aim to show the beauty of the human condition and nature, in different regions of Colombia. He is a Founding member of the “Photographic Club Bogotá", and a member of the “Editorial Team" of the cured gallery 1X.COM. In 2013, his work was published in the European Journal BLUR MAGAZINE (34th) and in 2015 in the Colombian magazine specializing in photography ENFOQUE VISUAL (32nd). In 2013 and 2014, his images received an honorable mention in the competition “Colombia in Pictures”, more than 40 of his photographs have been published in the cured galleries: PHOTOVOGUE (Italy) www.1x.com and www.pentaprismcommunity.org.
