Evolution and Ecology of Neotropical Mammals

He is a researcher at the Institute of Genetics at National University of Colombia. He is a biologist at National University of Colombia since 2008 and candidate for Master of Biology, Genetics line of this University. Most of his professional work has focused on the analysis of the environmental impact on the Colombian mastofauna by industrial projects. Currently investigates the evolutionary diversification of the genus Callicebus (Pitheciidae: Primates) using molecular markers; his main interest is the analysis of the evolution of mammals using molecular tools.
